Ste. Genevieve is the oldest community west of the Mississippi celebrating 275 years and is 1 hour south of St. Louis on I-55. Steeped in French Colonial heritage, the Ste. Genevieve region is home to several historical homes, Bed & Breakfasts and a historic downtown filled with unique shops. There are also several award winning wineries, breweries, restaurants and state parks interspersed among the picturesque hills and valleys of the Ste. Genevieve region. The community hosts several events celebrating our French Heritage including the Jour de Fete in the fall and seasonal festivals at participating wineries along Ste. Genevieve’s wine road, Route de Vin.
