Fan's Best Friend Donates Helmutt Houses to Tour of Missouri Gala Auction
Silent Auction to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Amachi Missouri
 OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – Aug. 25, 2009 – Fan's Best Friend, manufacturer of Helmutt Houses, luxury dog houses shaped like authentic football helmets, has announced that it will donate its product to the Tour of Missouri Gala Silent Auction. The Opening Gala will take place on Sunday, September 6, which will include a silent auction where a Missouri Tiger and Missouri State Bear Helmutt House will be featured. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Amachi Missouri (BBBSAM).
BBBSAM is a statewide mentoring partnership program with an overall goal to build a statewide network of quality one-to-one mentoring services for children of incarcerated parents.
Other items that will be auctioned off to benefit BBBSAM include premium bicycles, signed jerseys as well as other collectibles.
Fan's Best Friend will also host an online auction for a Missouri and Missouri State Helmutt House that will benefit BBBSAM until Noon on Monday, September 14. People can make a bid by e-mailing

. The minimum bid is $100.00 USD and bidders must include their contact information including mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. Only checks and credit cards will be accepted, and the payment must be made in full before the product is shipped.
 Bearing officially licensed team logos and colors, Helmutt Houses are replicas of the helmets worn by fans' favorite NCAA football teams – only bigger. The standard size Helmutt House fits small, medium and some large-sized dogs comfortably inside. Helmutt Houses are available for the following teams: University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Southern California (USC), University of Missouri (Mizzou), Missouri State University, University of Georgia, University of Oklahoma, University of Nebraska, Iowa State, University of Iowa, Arizona State, Texas A&M, University of Tennessee, Mississippi State, Michigan State, and Indiana University.
